Energy Medicine / Somatic Coaching
Sessions involve tuning into our bodies in the present moment, centering, grounding, opening. It's not talk therapy, although there is some dialoguing. It's also not about me doing something to you. It's about "holding space" to allow energy to move and process as needed, resolving issues or obstacles. It is not necessary to name the issue. The issues can be physical, emotional, or mental and acute or chronic. After the session, people feel lighter, more open, centered, grounded, relaxed and joyful. They find new insights and wisdom in their life. They often notice shifts in their perspective and relationships in the following days.

About
I began exploring energy work with Reiki in 1999. In 2010 I graduated from the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing (IPSB), studying holistic massage therapy; receiving a strong grounding in anatomy and body-mind awareness. I began studying Craniosacral and Polarity therapy at the Life Energy Institute in 2015. I now also offer distance sessions via video call.Massage and energy work is a powerful combination that allows healing on multiple levels. The lightest touch can work the deepest, from the inside out, while "deep tissue" work helps open the physical pathways for energy movement.I previously worked assisting elderly with mental and physical disabilities. I also served on the board of an environmental non-profit. I enjoy learning about wild edible and medicinal plants. I make tinctures, herb-infused oils and salves which I use in sessions.
